Iggy the Cat: A Review

Iggy is my small Siamese cat. Though I cannot add a photo, I can say with confidence that he is one of the prettiest cats I’ve ever seen. If it weren’t for his wild personality, he’d definitely be bringing back trophies from cat shows. We found Iggy in our garage two years ago. Then, he was just a small kitten the size of my hand. He has pure white fur, grey accents on his paws, ears, tail, and nose, and he has vibrant sky blue eyes. My parents knew that once I saw this kitten, they would never be able to get rid of it. Boy, were they right.

Coming from the wild, Iggy is a very high-energy cat; he runs around the house like it’s his playground and he bounces off the walls like he drank three cans of Red Bull. We’ll hear stomping in the middle of the night as if an elephant had broken in, but sure enough, it’s just Iggy. He even has a bit of an attitude; stalking us like prey, trying to pick fights with our much larger dogs, and gnawing on my ankles or hands when I’m trying to get work done. Don’t let his fancy looks fool you, Iggy is a real asshole.

Despite him being an asshole, I still love the little furball. He’ll wake me up in the morning with friendly purrs, come sit on my lap when playing video games, and he’ll even let me pet him and give him hugs (to which he’ll remind me that enough is enough with an “accidental” bite to the hand).

I would give Iggy a 10/10 rating.
